Summer Bishil is an American actress best known for her role as Margo Hanson on the Syfy fantasy drama series The Magicians (2015-present). The Alan Ball movie Towelhead, she played 13-year-old Lebanese American actress Jasira who is amidst a turbulent life as the U.S. invade Iraq during the Gulf War. She was subsequently picked as one of the 10 actors in Variety's list of actors to watch in 2007. The role she played was another one of her most memorable characters Taslima Jahangir in the 2009 crime drama film Crossing Over for which she was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award in the Best Female Leading Actress category. In addition, she has appeared in films like The Mooz-lum The Last Airbender Pop Star and Under the Silver Lake and was a guest on several roles on television apart from playing co-lead roles in Lucky 7.
